‘Cha-Cha’

Installation by Dzenana Hozic

Hozic’s installation consists of elements belonging to the house

and specifically created images, which reflect both the house and the language

of 50’s magazines and early tourist stereotypes, which inspired its makeup.

Hozic is conscious of intrusion into an intimate space. The work is light and

playfully floats around the existing characterful furnishings. The lights illuminate

and cast shadows on the room, an occurrence sensitively echoed in the

photographs, which float between the illusionist and the actual.
